Payment options accepted
Tuition and fees are due by the payment due date each semester. Students who have not paid for their classes by the end of the business day on the payment due date may be dropped from their classes.
Credit and debit cards and ACH Payments
Delta accepts Visa, MasterCard or Discover debit or credit cards and ACH payments directly charged to your bank account. Payments may be made online through Student Self-Service. Delta College does not charge a payment processing fee.
On-campus payments
To pay in person by cash, check, debit or credit card, please visit the Cashier's Office, located at B111, Monday - Thursday, 8am – 4:30pm, Friday 8am – 4pm.
Nelnet tuition payment plan
If you need more time to pay your tuition and fees, you can enroll in the Nelnet tuition payment plan. We offer an online, short-term interest-free plan that will allow you to spread out your tuition and fees into smaller monthly payments beyond the start of the semester. Students must enroll by the payment due date. The earlier you sign up, the lower the down payment and monthly payments will be. Payments will be automatically withdrawn from your account.

Sponsor funding
Student Billing will charge tuition, fees and required books and supplies directly to sponsoring agencies and companies that offer assistance on behalf of students. If you have a sponsoring agency, you must verify that a certificate or billing authorization from your sponsor is received in Student Billing by the payment due date. The billing authorization must be on the sponsor’s letterhead bearing the sponsor’s name, billing address and contact information. A new sponsor billing authorization must be submitted for each semester that the sponsor is providing you with financial assistance. You must verify the amount of tuition and fees covered by your sponsor and pay any unfunded difference by the payment due date or you will be deleted from your classes for non-payment.
Financial aid
If you have been awarded financial aid, you must accept it prior to payment due date. You may access your award information in Student Self-Service. If your financial aid is awarded prior to payment due date, your tuition and fees will be paid with your award. The award amount is based on the number of credits you are enrolled in for the semester. Any excess financial aid funds left after tuition and fees have been deducted may be used to purchase books and supplies if the financial aid provider allows for such purchases. You should verify the amount of tuition and fees covered by your financial aid and pay any unfunded difference to avoid being deleted from classes for non-payment.
Accept Your Financial Aid Award
Federal direct student loan
If you have been approved for a student loan prior to the payment due date, you will be allowed to charge tuition and fees against your loan based on the number of credits you are enrolled for the semester. Loans are received by the college in two installments. You will receive an email from Delta’s Financial Aid Office when each installment is received. Student Billing will also contact you if either of your loan installments is in excess of your tuition and fees to notify you when your excess loan check will be mailed to you. No specific information regarding loan checks may be given out over the phone.
