Delta College was ranked third on the list for mid-sized community colleges when the Center for Digital Education (CDE) announced the winners of its 2015-16 Digital Community Colleges Survey this week.
Community members will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet with an active duty NASA astronaut. Delta College will host Dr. Andrew Feustel, for a presentation open to the community at the historic State Theatre downtown Bay City on Thursday, April 21st, from 7 to 9 p.m.
As Mars comes around for its closest approach to Earth since 2005, the staff at the Delta College Planetarium in Bay City have created an original production about the Red Planet.
The Annual Delta College Middle School Mathematics Competition entitled MARCH MATHNESS was held on Saturday, March 19, 2016. The competition hosted approximately 400 middle school students from 27 area schools, including the counties of Bay, Midland, Saginaw, Isabella, Gratiot, Shiawassee, Genesee, Tuscola, Lapeer, St. Clair, Huron, Clare and Detroit.
On Saturday, March 12 at 3:30pm the Delta College Planetarium and Learning Center will premiere a brand new full-dome production called “Edge of Darkness.” The film features amazing scenes of places never before seen, gathered by key space missions that recently culminated with groundbreaking discoveries.
