Downtown Bay City

Delta College Downtown Bay City is centrally located at the beginning of historic Center Avenue. Best known for it's unique building and Planetarium, the 39,000 square foot facility was built with funds provided by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Delta College Downtown Bay City is conveniently located within walking distance of Wenonah Park, numerous restaurants, coffee houses, shops and the Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library. The facility has six classrooms and a computer lab where Delta offers many general education classes at times that fit your schedule. Nursing, wellness and, of course, astronomy classes are also available. Getting there is simple, too. Bay Metro buses stop just a block away, making it easy to get to class.

"I like coming to the Planetarium for class because I also enjoy this building. I came here several times when I was younger and loved it. It gives you a feeling you can’t quite explain."
