Multi-Factor Authentication

As a Delta College employee, you will use your Delta College username and password along with multi-factor authentication to sign into a variety of services and software provided by the college.

Why is MFA required?

Multi-Factor Authentication helps secure your account information by requiring access to a specific physical device in addition to your password, usually a phone, that you would always have with you. This makes it more difficult for bad actors to break into your Delta account and potentially steal your identity.

Accounts should have MFA options set up from at least two of the following three categories:

    1. Microsoft Authenticator App
      • Push notification or one-time code from inside the app
    2. Phone Number
      • Text confirmation code or automated phone call
    3. Alternate Email
      • Email confirmation code (for password reset only, not for signing in)
Authentication Options Sign into this Microsoft service with your Delta College credentials to manage authentication options.
Identity Theft Prevention Refer to this page by our Public Safety department for more information about identity theft prevention.
