SPECIALIzED TESTING
ASE is an independent, non-profit organization. Since 1972, they have worked to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying repair and service professionals.
How to register
- Register with ASE. All costs associated with ASE tested will be handled directly with ASE.
- Contact us at 989-686-9182 ortestingcenter@delta.edu to schedule your testing appointment. Make sure to have your name, email, phone number, ASE number and test codes of the certification exams you are registered to take.
- Arrive on time for your appointment. Please bring confirmation of your ASE number and government-issued ID with you.
How would you like to get college credit for what you already know? The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) offers you the opportunity to earn credit for 33 college subject examinations and speed up your education. You don't need to be a Delta student to take a CLEP exam with us.
How to register
- Verify that you can receive CLEP credit for your expected class by reviewing the Complete Test Out List.
- Create an account with College Board.
- Select the exam and the pay $90 examination fee directly to College Board.
- Note: Due to CLEP regulations, we are unable to accommodate students who register for a remote appointment. Please make sure you choose the option for testing at a Test Center when registering for your CLEP exam.
- Contact the Cashier's office at (989) 686-9394 to arrange payment of the $35 administration fee payable directly to Delta College; non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Email the Delta College Testing Center at testingcenter@delta.edu with your CLEP ticket and receipt information.
- Upon receipt of above, you will be contacted to schedule your appointment and to receive final instructions.
- Arrive on time for your appointment, and bring your government-issued ID with you.
Certain members of the U.S. Armed Services, veterans, their spouses, and civilian employees may be eligible for DANTES funding to take a CLEP exam. Proper Military ID is required on the day of testing. All DANTES eligible service members will be required to pay Delta College's administrative fee of $35 or $25 for active military.
DANTES/DSST exams are designed to help active military members and veterans pursue their educational goals and earn degrees during and after their service. You don't have to be a Delta student to take a DSST exam with us.

- Please arrive on time for your scheduled exam, and bring your government-issued ID with you to your appointment.
- Please be sure to bring a credit card with you. You will pay the vendor at the time of testing.

The ETS® ParaPro Assessment is now available for at-home testing.
The ParaPro test-at-home is administered and monitored using the ProProctor® software
from Prometric®. As with other remotely proctored assessments, you must meet equipment
and environment requirements prior to testing. View a complete list of requirements, which includes software needs to test on a Mac® and PC. Please note this exam is
not offered by the Testing Center.
Once you have confirmed that your computer and testing room meet the requirements,
you can register and schedule your appointment directly with ProProctor. Appointments are available 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. Additional
