The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers classroom course is designed to provide you with the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Who should take this course?
If you are a healthcare professional who needs to know how to perform CPR and other lifesaving skills in a wide variety of in- and out-of-hospital settings or a student preparing for your clinical experience this course is for you. Upon successful completion of this four hour course and mandatory written exam, you’ll receive certification for two years and be prepared to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
