Career Discovery Resource
As a student at Delta, you have access to Career Discovery which is a compilation of resources housed within D2L, our learning management system. This is set up for you to self-enroll and access throughout your time as a student. These resources are grouped based on the milestones that you may experience during your student journey from exploring your career interests through creating your resume and practicing for job interviews.
Learn about yourself
Whether you are just starting out or have been working for a long time, you may be struggling to find a good fit in your career. Learning about yourself including your skills, interests, and personality is a great place to start your journey to a satisfying vocation. The more you know about yourself the better prepared you will be to identify a path here at Delta that is right for you. Before making any big decisions, we have tools that can help guide you along the way.

Resources from MI Works!
Delta College now has a partnership with MI Works. They can help you create a resume, write a cover letter, or search for a job.
If you want to talk with someone from MI Works, you can schedule an appointment to meet with them on the main campus on Thursdays between 10am – 2pm.
If coming here doesn't work, please email CareerDiscovery@delta.edu and we will pass your name along to them. They will contact you to set up an appointment at their office.

Free workshops from MI Works!
MI Works offers several workshops, both virtually and in person, on an ongoing basis. They cover topics such as Job Search Networking, Resume Workshops, Interviewing, Veterans Workshops, along with many others.
