The Human Resources Office will provide a Beyond This Day keepsake upon receiving notification of death.

Procedures

 The Human Resources Office will provide a Beyond This Day keepsake upon receiving notification of death of the following:

1. 1. A full/part-time regular employee (including the passing of their spouse, son/daughter, father/mother, brother/sister)
   2. A Board of Trustee Member (including the passing of his/her spouse or child)
   3. A Foundation Board of Director (including the passing of his/her spouse or child)

The President’s office should be notified of a student’s death so a note may be sent to the family. Supervisors should contact their department/division designee for announcement posting on the Delta-L.  Upon request, Human Resources can assist in posting a message to the Delta-L for the instances listed above.
