Professional Development Pay

Adjunct Faculty will be compensated $25/hour for College-approved Professional Development activities.

Approved professional development opportunities will be provided to adjuncts through the  Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence, eLearning, and/or the appropriate Associate Dean or designee.

When the professional development activity is completed, attendance will be submitted by the facilitator of the activity to The Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence. The Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence Coordinator will submit pay requests for approval.  

When Pay requests are submitted they must:

• • Occur within the same academic year as the professional development activities occurred,
  • Be submitted in a minimum of 3 hour increments, 
  • Be limited to 20 hours per academic year (effective 7/1/2022), and
  • Be submitted as soon as possible after completion of the professional development activity in order to ensure timely payment.

In some cases the requests may be submitted directly by the Associate Dean.
