Do you need help developing learning, study and test-taking strategies? Or do you have more in-depth questions about a specific class? Delta offers tutoring services that can help you through free, one-on-one support.
Delta's tutoring services are here to support your development into a successful lifelong learner. In collaboration with faculty and academic services, the center assesses the diverse needs of Delta's students and provides essential learning skills, strategies and resources for becoming independent learners.
Services
Tutoring by appointment
Use this service for more in-depth tutoring assistance for a specific class, and to get help developing better learning, studying and test-taking strategies. Students may request two 45-minute appointments per class per week. Appointments are available virtually and in-person on the main campus. Some appointments may be available at the Downtown Saginaw Center and the Midland Center, as well.
We want to help students reach their goals, so we also offer assistance before taking placement testing in the Delta College Testing Center. Call or send us an email for help arranging an appointment for pre-placement testing assistance.
CyberTutor
Need a tutor but not sure where to start? Submit your question via CyberTutor to get started. Use this service for content-specific questions for class (e.g. how to solve particular types of problems, how to get unstuck on an assignment, etc.)
